Math League

Math League will have their fall coaches meeting on September 24, 2024, at 5:30pm at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.  The meeting is currently set to be in person.  

I plan on setting our meets for October, November, December, and January.  

There will be 2 make up meets scheduled for February.  

The Invitational has been set for March 24 – March 26, 2025.

Good morning coaches, 

I wanted to follow up with the concern of having the Invitational in the latter part of March.  After reviewing the calendars once again, we are going to leave the Invitational where it is.  There are several schools that are not in session during the first part of March.  Ironically, the only 3 days in March there is nothing happening is from the 25th to 27th.  We will try to make every effort to work with those students during the Invitational.  So, the dates below are final. 

Coaches meeting:  Sept 20th @ MMC  5:30

Meet #1:          Oct 25th 

Meet #2:          Nov 15th

Meet #3:          Dec  14th (change due to BSD being closed)

Meet #4:          Jan 10th (canceled due to weather, using make up date 2/7)

Make ups         Feb 7th  and/or  14th 

Invitational        Monday, March 25th for 7th grade

Tuesday, March 26th for 7th & 8th grade  (NEW)

Wednesday, March 27th for High School

Welcome Back Math League Coaches,  

I would like to welcome you all back to another great school year.  Your math league coordinators have met over the summer to prepare for this year’s competitions.  We are excited to get started and see our students excel.  We will kick off our year with our coaches meeting on September 20th at 5:30pm at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.   During this meeting we will review the rule and procedure changes for this year.  Regions will be making some decisions on locations and roles.  We will be going over how scores will be reported and the new procedure to make sure they are correct.  If you are unable to attend this meeting, please try to make sure someone from your district is present.   

Attached you will find the coaches meeting registration, school registration and the rules and procedures.   There is one major change this year regarding registration.  Coaches will need to fill in the registration form and email it to Vinita and Sarah.  Sarah will then send you confirmation and a bill/invoice for payment.  The confirmation will have directions on paying.  Registration deadline is September 13th..   We know that some schools will still be recruiting, that is why we only need a number of tentative teams.  If your school needs to add teams, we can make that adjustment.  We just need to get an estimate number of schools to begin to set up regions.
