President Elect is a 4-year transitional position as follows:
1 year as President Elect + 2 years as President + 1 year as Past President
The general tasks of a Board member include:
Have fun.
Attend DCTM Board meetings during the school year (approx. 5-6 meetings). Can connect remotely.
Spread the word about DCTM to new teachers and student teachers.
Contribute articles to the DCTM newsletter (2 articles/year).
Assist with the Math League State-Wide Competitions, as needed (usually in March or April).
Assist with the Annual Poster Contest and Reception, as needed (usually in May).
