Sarah Kashner - Treasurer

Sarah Kashner is a veteran educator at Dover High School, entering her 29th year in education. She has been an active member of the DCTM Board since 2011, serving in a variety of roles over the years. Sarah has held the position of Treasurer since 2020 and is currently running to continue in that role, bringing experience, consistency, and a strong commitment to supporting mathematics educators across Delaware. 

Sapna Setty - New Castle County Rep

As I transition into a K–12 instructional coaching role, I am eager to become more involved in supporting mathematics education across the state. I bring a unique perspective, splitting my time between teaching high school mathematics and working as a K–12 instructional coach, which allows me to understand both classroom realities and broader instructional needs across grade levels. I am passionate about strengthening math instruction, supporting teachers, and promoting equitable access for all students, and I would value the opportunity to contribute to professional learning, collaboration, and advocacy through the DCTM Board. 

Vinita Lobo - Private/Parochial Rep

Vinita Lobo has been teaching high school Mathematics for 34 years, the first 4 in a public school in upstate New York, and the next 29 at Archmere Academy in Claymont, DE.  She is passionate about helping all students learn Mathematics. Vinita has an MS in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and an MA in Mathematics from UCLA.  She was awarded the Barnard Master Teacher Award at Archmere Academy in 2010.  She has served as the Math Department Chair at Archmere for 16 years until 2023, and as an AP Calculus Reader for 8 years since 2012.  Vinita is a Math League coach and has been the State High School Coordinator for Math League since 2018.  

Vinita lives in Claymont, DE with her husband.  She has two children who are college graduates and were educated K-12 in Delaware public and private schools.
